So, you want to commission a painting…

You’re interested in owning one of my original abstract paintings to enhance your living space but you can’t seem to find the perfect one for your room!

Maybe you love one of my paintings but it is already sold out and you're interested in a similar one (I do not recreate paintings, but I can use an existing painting as inspiration for a similar piece). Or, there is a special moment or feeling that you would like to create a customized piece around so it holds a special meaning to you.

 Whatever your reason may be, you have the option to work one-on-one with me to produce a commissioned, all original piece of abstract art for your home!

Ironing out the details.

DETERMINE SIZE AND PRICE 

My commissioned paintings are priced individually according to size. There are a several sizes available. If you have an idea of the size you are looking for, GREAT! If you aren’t sure, we can work together to determine the best size for your painting.  

You can view my chart of common sizes with prices. Or you can choose a custom size if the size you want is not listed. If you choose a custom size, the price will be determined once you have settled on the size you want.

THE FUN PART - DETERMINING DETAILS 

After we have determined the size of your painting we will discuss the details. At this point we will settle on the color palette and the feel you are wanting to capture with the piece. If you have any inspiration photos or reference photos you would like to share to help the process along, you can share them with me at this point.

CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT

Once we have discussed the details of your new customized painting, we will both sign the agreed upon contract and you will be required to make a non-refundable deposit of 33% of the price of the painting (before tax and shipping fees). Once the deposit is received, I will begin work on the painting.

PROGRESS AND COMPLETION

During the creation process of your new painting, I will keep in contact with you via email and will provide updates on the progress. After the piece is completed, the remainder of the agreed upon price is expected to be paid in full. After the last payment has been received, the painting will be shipped/delivered to your home.
