Frequently Asked Questions

How do I commission a painting from you?

You will find information on the commission process on my Commissions page and Commission FAQ page.

What is your return policy?

You can find details on my return policy on my Returns and Refunds page.

What materials do you use for your paintings?

I usually use acrylic paint for my paintings. I enjoy the color ranges you can get from acrylic paint and I work quickly and need a faster drying paint than oil. I also use stretched canvas, MDF board or paper. I occasionally will use other media such as inks, charcoal, or modeling paste to create different effects in my work. I enjoy experimenting with materials and techniques.

Are you self taught or do you have formal schooling?

I am a mix of both. I took art courses from grade school all the way up to college but I did not graduate from an art program with any kind of art degree. I didn't really begin to paint seriously until several years after college where I began heavily focusing on abstract whereas most of my artwork from school was more realistic.

How long have you been painting?

I fell in love with painting in 2003 when when I was 10th grade. I continued to paint pretty consistently from the time I was 15 to about 18. I started college and really only painted when it was required for one of my classes and eventually pretty much quit all together with the exception of a few projects for friends. I picked up a paintbrush again in 2015 and haven't stopped since.

Do you sell prints?

Currently, I do not sell prints of my work but I do intend to in the future.

Do you offer framing for your paintings?

I do not offer a framing option for my paintings. If you would like a frame for your piece, you will have to purchase your own. All of my paintings do come with either hooks or wires and are ready to hang as is.
